'HackingSubways - Pinwheels' is a digital LED pinwheels installation on the wall of NYC subway station. Powered by the trains these displays will animate for passengers as how close the train is. As the train leaves from the previous station pinwheels start to swirl and light on a bit and they are getting to swirl more and more. Slow to a halt when the train stops. Pinwheels tell passengers how many minutes until the next train arrives.
